P.T. CCI has been succeeded in preparing and publishing business directory which is containing company profile of companies engaging in plastic products manufacturers scattered all over Indonesia. In 2012, the chemical industry sector’constribution included plastic industry are estimated to Rp. 66.4 trillion of PDB at amount of Rp. 2,567 trillion and non-oil and gas processing industry at amount of Rp. 525.5 trillion. By this condition, the chemical industry and other sector’s contribution in 2012 were declining compared to 2011 which reached at Rp. 587.5 trillion.
Realization of the new project in 2012 up to September got some 78 project of PMDN and 133 project of PMA. While in the same time, project realization in the secondary sector has reached up to 577 of PMDN and 1.571 of PMA. In the same time, the realization of project for all sectors rearched at 1.082 of PMDN and 4.186 project of PMA.
As viewed from the project’s value that up to September 2012 the realized investment project around Rp. 65.7 trillion (PMDN) and Rp. 18.3 trillion (PMA). The realization of a great project consisted of primary sector consisting of agricultural, husbandry, fisheries and mining at a total of Rp. 15 trillion (PMDN) and Rp. 4.5 trillion (PMA) and Secondary sector which is the processing industry at a total of Rp. 38.1 trillion (PMDN) and Rp. 8.6 trillion (PMA) as well as tertiary sector which is consisting of services industry like electricity, trading, transportation, real estate and the like reached at Rp. 12.5 trillion (PMDN) and Rp. 5.2 triliion (PMA).
The plastic industry sector included in secondary sector and more specific included in the rubber and plastic industry group. This sub-sector in 2012 ranked on the 7-biggest and the first rank hold by non-metal mineral processing industry sector, followed by food and paper and printing industry. At the same time the project in the group of rubber and plastic industry were realized only reached at Rp.2.3 trillion (PMDN)and Rp. 586 billion (PMDN). During the last three years, the project realization in the rubber and plastic industry sector were always dominated by the Domestic Capital Investment (PMDN).
