P.T. CCI has succeeded again in conducting research and publishing the comprehensive study. The study is analyzed vividly and systematically the business prospect of schedule airlines in Indonesia.
The business study uveiled that in this century era the air transportation is a very importantly means of transport to link between Indonesia regions or Indonesia inter-regions with other countries which can be reached quickly. To manage a modern national air transportation system, it will be required well planning and development supported by an increasing quality on human resources as well as air transportation infrastructures.
In the last five years (2011-2015) the total amount of schedule airlines passengers for international flight increased 8.79% per year. While in 2011, the total amount of passengers were carried 8.15 million then in 2015 increased to 11.2 million passengers.
On the other hand, the total amount of schedule airlines passengers for domestic flight carried in the last five years (2011-2015) grew up to 10.51% per year. In 2011, the total passengers were carried 60.2 million and in 2015 was estimated to 89.01 million passangers.
